POSITIONS AVAILABLE SUMMER 2022 SUMMER HELP - BUILDINGS & GROUNDS (2) Assists with summer cleaning and grounds maintenance. Teaching staff, college students, and high school students are encouraged to apply. Must be able to climb ladders and lift more than 50 lbs. June 27, 2022 to August 26, 2022 35 Hours per week (Monday through Friday) Some flexibility with scheduling can be accommodated.

Qualifications

  • Holds or is eligible for a New Jersey School Counselor Standard Certificate issued by the NJ Department of Education

  • Preferably Experience working with students K through 8.


Responsibilities

  • Schedule will include hours at both the elementary and middle school

  • The School Counselor will work directly and indirectly with students, faculty and administrators in order to help address social-emotional needs of the students at both the elementary and middle school.

  • Provide direct support to students in both schools through needs based groups to help address social-emotional issues that impact their ability to perform academically

  • Provide support and serve as a resource for classroom teachers

  • Provide individual and/or group counseling in order to assess the nature of any concerns, as well as to meet the needs of students with IEP and/or 504s

  • Participate in student support meetings as scheduled to discuss individual students and to identify strategies to address their situation

  • The School Counselor will follow the scheduled hours for full time staff employees
