About Me
Welcome to preschool! My name is Jessica Hull and I am the inclusion preschool teacher here at Valley View. I live in Holland Township with my husband Zach and our cat Hank. We live in the woods and enjoy being around nature. This is the start of my 8th year teaching preschool. I am a dual certified teacher in special education and general education for the grades preschool up to 5th grade. I also have my Maters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis.I love teaching preschool because the children are curious, sweet, imaginative, honest and they are like sponges that soak everything up!
In my classroom I strive to create a learning environment that is warm, welcoming, safe and fun that fosters independence. We use the Creative Curriculum where children learn through hands on exploration and play. In addition, I use a combination of Get Set For School and Fundations to reach the academic goals for preschool. We follow a structured routine with built in classroom rules that help prompt positive social interactions and learning. I look forward to working with you and your child!
