Students are invited to sign up for Needles & Hooks! Students in this club will have the opportunity to learn to knit or crochet. Meeting times will be “workshop” times so that students may actively learn and work on projects. Crafters of all ability levels are welcome.
Ms. Spann has a small supply of materials to loan out to students - knitting needles, knitting looms, crochet hooks, and yarn. As students become more comfortable with a craft, they may want to purchase their own materials. Ms. Spann has a supply of size 8. 9. and 10 knitting needles from Peace Fleece
that she sells for $7.00/pair (this is the cost of the needles; she does not make a profit). Many places sell knitting needles, crochet hooks, and yarn at reasonable prices. Check your local yarn stores - Aunt Jean's in Clinton or Washington One Stop
, Michaels, or Walmart.
Donations of yarn, needles, crochet hooks, and knitting looms are always welcome!
